The Perfect Flats Game

I walk a lot in NYC. To work, to run errands, to meet friends - I'm constantly on the go and on my feet. And now as the weather warms up I will start once again walking to work in the morning and evenings - a good 2.5 to 3 miles a day. Hence why I need comfortable shoes that will take me everywhere. Marc Fisher has some incredibly stylish and even more comfortable options available and I predict this pair of black and white flats will be making the trek to work with me very often in the seasons to come.

Bébé Talk: Pregnancy Information

There's a whole lot of information out there about pregnancy: symptoms, what not to eat, labor options, baby equipment to buy, what you should feel and prepare for week by week, and more. And all that information can be very, very overwhelming - especially for a first time mama. Instead of obsessively turning to google for every answer, I've been taking guidance from friends, reading fun facts on some favorite blogs and newsletters, checking out friend's registries to guide myself on what to buy and reading only a couple of highly recommended books. This has helped me enjoy my pregnancy more without having to worry and obsess over every little thing. Of course, that's not to say I don't do a google search every once in a while because, of course I do! There's a whole lot changing every day but it's good to remind myself it's okay to sit back, relax and enjoy the ride.

Here's some of my favorite sources of information / newsletters / books and shops:

Outfit: Metallic Knits

These images were taken a few weeks back and what a difference a few weeks make! I was only 18 weeks then and my clothes still fit - snuggly but still fit. I'm now 3 weeks away from entering my third trimester and I have to say my wardrobe options are getting very limited. I'm trying to only purchase key pieces that are easy to mix and match, easy to wear from work to play and not spend a ton of cash on items I only hope to be wearing for 6-7 more months. It's hard though! I'm putting together a good, long post that's all about options for dressing the bump - once it pops - and I think you guys will be surprised by how many options are out there. Let's just say Equipment, Joie,  Rebecca Minkoff, and Vince make some really incredible maternity pieces, all available at A Pea in the Pod. Oh, and Rachel Zoe has just joined this dream team - her debut collection is now available at A Pea in the Pod
