Back to Work

It's hard to believe Ali will be 11 weeks tomorrow (!!!!) and I'll be back at work in a few short weeks. Time is definitely flying! I am looking forward to going back to a day to day routine (work, work, work) and starting what will become our new 'normal'. I've been revamping my work wardrobe and adding lots of skirts and tops for the fall and winter seasons. This skirt was quite the find for less than $40. Yep, less than $40! I love finding pieces that I know will work for a long time to come and for that incredibly price. Also on my list is this silk turtleneck and these suede booties. My wish list just keeps growing and growing (and growing...)

Skirt: Ann Taylor LOFT (40% off! also love this one)
Shoes: Christian Louboutin (suede version here)
Bag: 3.1 Phillip Lim (also love this version)
Bracelet: David Yurman

Mom Style: Casual Friday

My "mom style" is a real extension of my "pre-mom style," thankfully. I've had to make very few changes to my wardrobe other than buying a few nursing friendly tops and pjs right when Ali was born. Otherwise, my daily uniform has remained the same as my regular weekend wear - broken in jeans, simple button downs and tees, comfy flats and a big tote or cross body bag. For Ali, however, I've shopped 'till I dropped. My latest obsession - the BabyGap x aden + anais collection of blankets and accessories. I absolutely love all the aden + anais goodies - blankets, sheets, onesies, swaddle blankets - everything! so it was no surprise that I loved the collaboration with Baby Gap. Shop all the pieces from the BabyGap x aden + anais collection here.

On me:
Top: Equipment (on sale! love this long sleeve version)
Jeans: Gap
Shoes: Tod's
Sunglasses: Ray-Ban

On Ali:
Onesie: Baby Gap

Mommy and Me Style: Fall Florals

I've been having so much fun dressing Ali in soft cotton, pretty florals, baby leggings and girly headbands. Now that fall has arrived and the cool has hit New York I've had to make some adjustments to her wardrobe. This Stella McCartney romper is my most recent purchase and I bought it a size up so she can wear it for a bit longer (babies grow crazy fast!) See below for some more styles that are currently sitting in my shopping cart. Baby girl clothes is just so darn cute!
