BÉBÉ Talk: Baby Clothes

I'm bringing back the Bebe Talk series after a long hiatus because I have a lot to share these days. The nursery / guest room is done and it looks great (can't wait to share our mini project). Baby clothes are neatly folded, Buy Buy Baby boxes are still pouring in and Kenny and I can't wait to meet our Baby N in a few short weeks. There's obviously still a lot to do - set up the car seat, pack the hospital bag, go on a hospital tour (more on all these in the next Bebe Talk) but things feel a little more settled in our new home now that we've been here for a little over six weeks and the walls are no longer empty.

I have to admit I didn't purchase a thing for Baby N until I was close to six months pregnant. It all felt surreal and we didn't have anywhere to put anything in our one bedroom apartment. So I waited. And then the day I bought her first onesie it all sunk in even more. And I haven't been able to stop buying! This little chick has a big drawer full of the cutest, tiniest clothes already thanks to friends and family and, of course, Kenny and I who have now purchased way more than she'll probably need. Here's a recap of my favorite brands.

Three weeks to go!

Blankets: White and Warren (baby's first cashmere!) // Aden + Anais
Onesies / Layettes: Petit Bateau // Kissy Kissy (great sale selection here) // Baby Gap // EGG by Susan Lazar (great sale selection here) // Oeuf
Hooded Towels: Aden + Anais // Land of Nod
Online Stores: The White Company // Oeuf // Giggle
Accessories: Turbans for Tots // The Pickled Peanut

Fourth of July: Blue, White and Pink

These are more or less the only jeans I've been wearing lately. The looser fit allows me to still feel comfortable and throw on some of my larger fitting button downs to cover the bulging belly. This Vince plaid shirt is a new buy that I just couldn't pass up. It will be great with skinny white jeans once I get back to my pre pregnancy bod - maybe in September? In the meantime, Baby Norden fits comfortably in it and I feel stylish without compromising the comfort I look for in every outfit these days.

Happy Monday, everyone!

Top: Vince (non maternity but fit is loose - I'm wearing a small)
Shoes: Manolo Blahnik (also love these)
Bag: Marni (similar here)
Sunglasses: Ray Ban
Bracelets: Charriol

Lady in Pink

Pink has become a favorite color of mine this season. I have found two great dresses (here and here) to add to my maternity collection, both in bright pink hues, and both have quickly become favorites. This Vince one comes in several other colors and I'm seriously considering splurging on the white one - especially since it's less than $180 on sale! It's actually not even a maternity dress but it fits my growing belly beautifully. Thoughts? To splurge or not to splurge...

Dress: Vince (on sale! also here and here)
Shoes: Jimmy Choo (pink ones are on sale!)
Bag: Marc Jacobs
