Weekend Recap

This past weekend really went by in the blink of an eye. K and I spent time with friends, ran a million and a half errands, took two fun dance lessons (yes, he agreed to take salsa lessons in preparation for the wedding!!), watched football, and dined out. I also spent some time with my friend at the Saks Fifth Avenue spa event. We got an amazing mini facial and a spa manicure and pedicure for a whopping $104 with tax! Amazing indeed.
The two highlights of the weekend was the pampering at Saks (no pics taken) AND dinner with friends at David Burke Kitchen on Saturday night.

All ready to go - still trying to master the outfit shot!

Yes, the food was as good as it looks. We started with an appetizer of short rib and scallop ravioli and a pretzel crab cake (top row.) The waitress was so great and brought us a lobster dumpling soup on the house! My entree was scallops in a truffle sauce and they were to die for! K and D split the porterhouse for two and no words can describe that juicy piece of meat.
Ending the night with an order of monkey bread. YUM.

Thank you David Burke for an amazing dinner!
