The Look for Thanksgiving

I was reading Women's Health while on the subway on my way home from work and they had some really great tips on what to wear for the BIG Thanksgiving meal. They suggest you wear something that hugs your body so that you're more conscious of how you look and therefore don't overdo it. I'm a big eater (not going to lie) so I thought this was a really brilliant suggestion! My perfect Thanksgiving outfit this year will be some skinny jeans/pants, a chambray or plaid button down shirt, and a fair isle or knit sweater that adds some color to the ensemble. The skinny pants will hopefully provide me with enough self control and not enough to space to overdo it!

I want a simple pop of color to add some cheer to the outfit and a bright sweater on top of jean on jean does the trick. The gray cheetah print pumps add the extra little bang I was looking for!

What are you wearing this Thursday?

  1. I'm actually a big advocate of the wear something somewhat fitting. I swear it works. Sucking in a big turkey gut takes a lotta work :)

  2. I'm going out tomorrow to find a little something special to wear. Not sure if I want to go dressy or casual. Love the looks you picked though! xoxo

  3. what a great tip! stuffing and pie are my faves on thanksgiving, so some skinny jeans should help with over indulging. xo
