Travel Truffle: Chiang Mai

We're only a little over a month away from our trip to Thailand and I can hardly contain my excitement. I already shared our plans for the first leg of the trip in Bangkok and the last leg of the trip in Koh Samui, but today we travel to Chiang Mai, the second stop on our trip. Chiang Mai, recognized as the second capital of Thailand, is located northwest of Bangkok sitting along the Mae Ping River. Kenny and I will be in Chiang Mai for four nights and we'll be staying at the amazing 137 Pillars House Hotel. The home-style residential style of the hotel immediately called our attention. The hotel is comprised of suites and sumptuous private gardens that give the whole space an air of intimacy and relaxation. T-34 days!
