Winter Skin and Hair Regimen

I'm the first one to admit that my skin and hair care regimen are very simple. Maybe too simple. I usually wash my hair with a regular shampoo and conditioner that focuses on hydration and then just let my hair air dry. No blow drying, no curling irons, nothing. As for my face, a simple face wash like Kiehl's Ultra-Facial Oil Free Cleanser and a dab of moisturizer does the trick. However, 2013 will bring with it the third decade of my life and I want to make sure I keep away wrinkles, dry skin, and all that ugly stuff that comes with that. So, here are some luxuries and small things I've added or am planning to add to my simple routine.

Josie Maran 100% Argan Oil is like the mother of all oils. My skin tends to get really dry in the winter months so this oil should do the trick. It's absorbed quickly by the skin so you don't feel like a greasy human at any point and that my friends is a big deal.

The whole eye cream deal is something that's escaped my attention until now. The under eye area is extremely sensitive and I've noticed it's usually the first one to show signs of aging. Eek! So, I introduce my eyes to the Caudalie Pulpee Eye and Lip Cream miracle worker. I just started using it and can already feel like my dark circles are fainter in the morning.

Body lotion is one of my many obsessions. I have SO many and just rotate them depending on my mood. Am I weird? Well, the latest addition to my body lotion collection is amazing. It's my first time trying any Frederic Malle product, but I've quickly become a fan.

SK-II LXP Ultimate Revival Essence is the caviar of all face moisturizers. It acts like a primer and leaves your skin feeling like a baby's bottom. It comes at a steep price but I think it's worth every penny.

I'm sure you know I'm pretty obsessed with Oribe's hair care line. The Oribe Beach Wave and Shine Spray is no exception. The smell alone reminds me of being on a beach bungalow.

These are all my new discoveries and latest loves in the skin and hair departments. What are yours?
