West Village Dining Guide

I figured that since this will be our last weekend living in the West Village (at least for now) then I'd take today to share my tried and true West Village favorite dining spots. If you know the neighborhood then you know there's nothing quite like it anywhere else in NYC. The quaint, winding streets, tree-lined blocks, gorgeous brownstones, and perfect dining and cocktail spots everywhere. Here is a quick guide to my personal West Village favorites.

Spasso - the pastas are to die for and don't forget to order their housemade Stracciatella cheese!
Palma - located on my favorite street - Cornelia Street.
Sant Ambroeus - a latte and a fresh made croissant, please!
Empellon - try their salsa sampler - you won't regret it!
Bar Fedora - small and adorable. Great for a date night.
Malatesta - teeny tiny and cash only but the best Italian food you'll ever have!
The Other Room - hole in the wall speakeasy with an amazing wine and beer selection.
The Upholstery Store - hard to find but a true WV gem for cocktails and small plates.
Buvette - cute establishment with delish small plates and an extremely attractive wait staff.
Kingswood - fun spot for a late dinner and big groups.
The Original Sandwich Shop - get ready to have the best sandwich of your life.
Cafe Panino Mucho Gusto - great for breakfast - try the Mucho Gusto Egg Special!
The Little Owl - small but so incredibly perfect for a romantic date.
Casa - best Brazilian cuisine in the city!
Elephant and Castle - quaint little spot best known for brunch. Try their farm breakfast special.
