DIY: The Jorts

I had a whole lot of fun with this one, guys! I'm not one to do very many (or any really) DIY projects around here but summer and my friends at Sauza Tequila inspired me and I had a blast. I set out to create my very own pair of jorts (jean shorts) with the help of an icy cool Sauza-rita in hand. It's easy, fun (and funny) to do and I've actually been wearing my new pair of jorts quite a bit this summer! Inspired by this one interesting cowboy, the project is quick and easy and would be a blast to do with some gal friends (and tequila in hand.) Just grab a pair of old (or new) jeans that are a bit loose on you - you don't want some tight shorts! - trace exactly where you want to cut (you may want to be wearing them while doing this so you know exactly what length you'll get) and grab a pair of scissors to do the job. And voila! Jorts for the summer are all done. So easy even I could do it! Tell me, what are some of your favorite DIYs for the summer-time? Follow me on Pinterest as I pin away some of my very own favorite summer time DIYs, Sauza-rita recipes, and other miscellaneous summer inspiration for you all to enjoy. Oh! And catch this one interesting cowboy's 'Make it With a Cowboy DIY' video here.

Ever think you could make jorts with a cowboy? Here's your chance to meet a man who crafts his heart out. Okay, so maybe he's not the best DIY-er. But what he lacks in cutting skills, he more than makes up for when he makes the perfect Sauza-rita. Watch him in action for ideas for your next ladies' night in: http://bit.ly/1juaLln.
