There's a whole lot of information out there about pregnancy: symptoms, what not to eat, labor options, baby equipment to buy, what you should feel and prepare for week by week, and more. And all that information can be very, very overwhelming - especially for a first time mama. Instead of obsessively turning to google for every answer, I've been taking guidance from friends, reading fun facts on some favorite blogs and newsletters, checking out friend's registries to guide myself on what to buy and reading only a couple of highly recommended books. This has helped me enjoy my pregnancy more without having to worry and obsess over every little thing. Of course, that's not to say I don't do a google search every once in a while because, of course I do! There's a whole lot changing every day but it's good to remind myself it's okay to sit back, relax and enjoy the ride.
